Јун 2023. године, Београд – Београдска отворена школа објављује позив за програм подршке Мењај на зелено! намењен организацијама цивилног друштва и медијима да кандидују пројектне идеје које ће допринети квалитетнијем учешћу јавности у процесима доношења одлука и праћењу примене јавних политика из области заштите животне средине и климатских промена. Десет најбољих пројеката биће изабрано кроз три фазе селекције и биће им додељена финансијска подршка у износу од 5 до 15 хиљада америчких долара.
Одабрани пројекти биће реализовани у периоду од 1. септембра 2023. године до 30. априла 2024. године. Осим финансијске подршке, успешним организацијама и медијима биће на располагању менторска и експертска подршка уз коју ће моћи да развијају своја знања и капацитете.
Програм Мењај на зелено! реализује се у оквиру петогодишњег пројекта “Заједно за животну средину” који спроводе Београдска отворена школа (БОШ) и Америчка агенција за међународну сарадњу (USAID) са циљем унапређења заштите животне средине и биодиверзитета у Србији. Програм ће трајати до 2027. године и намењен је цивилном, грађанском друштву које је покретач промена и кључни актер демократског развоја. Овај позив се односи на први годишњи циклус подршке за 2023. годину.
Заштита животне средине, природе и климатске промене чине четири од шест приоритета грађана и грађанки Србије, показало је истраживање ИПСОС-а из 2021. године. Све више су забринути за климатске промене и квалитет животне средине и спремни су да се директно укључе у решавање ових питања. Међутим, истраживања показују да грађани, али и организације цивилног друштва ретко учествују у формалним процесима доношења одлука, јер су најчешће процеси како кажу сувише бирократизовани и компликовани или немају поверење да својим ангажовањем могу нешто да промене.
“Позивамо организације цивилног друштва и медије да нам се прикључе у праћењу јавних политика и активно и информисано учествују у процесима доношења одлука о животно важним изазовима као што су заштита квалитета ваздуха, природе, управљање водама, климатске промене, управљање отпадом и владавина права у области заштите животне средине”, истакла је Мирјана Јовановић програмска менаџерка Београдске отворене школе у програмској области енергија, клима и животна средина.
Рок за подношење пројектних идеја је 5. јул 2023. године, до 15 часова, а више информација о смерницама подношења пројеката налази се на сајту: zazivotnusredinu.bos.rs.
За заинтересоване организације цивилног друштва и медије Београдска отворена школа ће у среду, 14. јуна са почетком у 11 часова, одржати инфо сесију ради ближег представљања услова из јавног позива за подношење предлога пројектних идеја. Пријава за учешће на информативној радионици је могућа преко овог линка.
Остали партнери на пројекту “Заједно за животну средину” су Млади истраживачи Србије, удружење ЕНЕЦА, Међународна унија за заштиту природе (IUCN), међународна еколошка организација The Nature Conservancy (TNC) и Америчка привредна комора у Србији (AmCham).
